I knew you were a pro when I saw those welds, very well done! Using kayak hatches on the deck is a great idea! Try West Marine or the Woodenboat Forum, that can lead you to some good buys.

Thanks! I didn't even think about kayak hatches. That's a good idea and they would definitely be water proof!

I made some progress on this trailer this week. I decided that cutting up the pre-made fenders I bought was not going to work, so I decided to make some fenders.

Then I made the rear door and added a drop down shelf/cutting board thing from FrontRunner.

Hi-jacking my own thread. I haven't made much progress on the trailer lately. I have been working on jeep stuff, but I did make something else that is expedition/overlanding related. I had a customer who wanted a gobi style rack for his WK2, but wanted to make a few changes. What do you guys think? If I don't put a RTT on my trailer, then I might add a basket similar to the one on the WK2.
