I am in the Bay Area of CA, looking for an iKamper roof top tent someone hasn’t used as much as they’d hoped. Taking my kids on an overlanding trip to Deadhorse AK to take an artic ocean swim. Let me know if you’ve got one. papadave418@yahoo.com

Have not been there, but every story I've read tells me that you are not allowed to swim there. The only access is a bus that makes trips to the Arctic Ocean, and you have a few minutes to be there, dip your toes in, and get back to Deadhorse. No private vehicles allowed.

And on top of that it's $70 a person for the shuttle which is the only access to the water at Prudue Bay. “Swim” might have been a bit generous of a description as it might be more like dip our toes in or do a quick dunk. Anyway, it's a bucket list item. :)

I was there in '09.
Nothing they can do, if say you happen to trip, and fall in the water.......

The water at the time we was there had the consistency of a slushy from 7/11 store.... Yeah i passed... but do have a jar full of Prudhoe Bay dirt / sand.....

Bump for yah...
