Looks cool! Putting clamps or brackets on the inside to secure them, yeah?

Maybe try adding a quick bolt on fairing for the front to help keep drag and noise down. Make it adjustable so you can tune the best angle for it.

Hope it doesnt drums on bumpy roads, the hi-lift isgoing to be bolted resting on rubber blocks and the shovel straped, in theory it's Going to be quiet

The high lift will be fun lifting out of the box while balancing on your tire or door sill.

install some quick fists inside for the hi-lift and shovel - they'll keep them secure and rattle free - can also leave some room for recovery straps, gloves, etc. Nice job.

Great idea, especially for carrying the stuff all year. Since you are probably a young guy lifting it out might not be an issue for you.
Might even fit in a fishing rod or two.

I like it. Was going to ask about lining it with a thin rubber mat to keep noise down of anything loose. I like it.

Any idea how much it weighs? I was looking to use a Pelican rifle case for mine, but that's 20+ pounds of roof load with just the case.

:sombrero: You could use a "JACKCASE" from Quadratec-I've had mine for over ten years and used it on top/inside/on the spare tire-the case weighs about 2lbs, until you put that jack in--then--about 30lbs--too heavy for the tailgate on a jeep !

You'll always have to be careful using anything on top--holding the HiLift--that's a heavy hunk of steel

Good luck
