I've been reading and researching and the more I do, the more confused I get so I'm reaching out for help. I've had a dual battery system in my Land Rover's for over 12 years. I always just used a Surepower 1314 and it worked great. Now I've moved to a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with smart alternator technology and start/stop so my understanding is the Surepower will no longer work, the second battery won't get properly charged and I could damage the vehicle electronics. I've been looking at Blue Sea ACR units, Traxide SD80 and others but I just can't confirm what is the best option for moving forward. Any advise, help and suggestions would be appreciated.
