270 Awning Mounted on the roof of a Tundra

Hi,
I want to install a 270 awning on my 2010 Tundra. I cant have a bed rack since I use the bed for my dirt bike.
The 270 awnings looks great, but I am afraid I will shade my bed more than anything else.
Would anyone have the same experience.

Why not look into Leitner Designs' Active Cargo System? This system, and others, is designed so the upper crossbars can be moved all the way forward, opening up the bed for dirtbikes and whatever else. That way you can mount the awning on the rack and actually have it be useful. I'm considering one of these for my 1st gen Tundra.

Yes that is probably the best solution
