4x4 Sportsmobile with 7.3L

Not my vehicle now, but I was the previous owner. This van is a testament to the 7.3L engine. I found it for sale on a trip to New Hampshire and decided to bring it home to Colorado. Bought it from the original owner who liked to drive between the NE and Alaska - said he's spent over 300 nights in it. Also explained the high mileage. During the short time I owned it I upgraded the track bars to the tube style (Quigley thing - I've had excellent experiences with Q) and put a fresh set of Rancho 9000 shocks on it. Full disclosure, I own a company that rents Sportsmobiles - Tonto Trails. I've owned quite a few SMB's and can tell you this one drives great and the 7.3 runs like new. Brian, the current owner, is a good friend and he has made a number of upgrades over the past couple of years including adding solar, wheels, and always staying in front of regular maintenance items. The penthouse top on this van is a manual lift. It is the smoothest operating manual-lift SMB top I've ever used - can't figure out why. Yes, the van has high mileage. No it doesn't have every single option. But it's a really nice van and an opportunity to try out the 4x4 Campervan lifestyle at a more reasonable price point than most other options.
