Up for sale is a 1950s military Bantam trailer that has been outfitted as an adventure trailer. $8,000
First off, keep in mind this is a 1950s military Bantam trailer… This design was built and used in WW2 to trudge through the European and the Pacific theater to win the war, so you know it is built to take a beating… and many more! If you are looking for the perfect used adventure trailer without any scratches or dents, go pay 20k-40k for the perfect overland trailer for you and your family.
Secondly, I would like to say that I am the builder of this trailer in collaboration with the owner. Over years of offroading and overlanding, we built this with both experience and research of what not only you need but want on the trail. Not going to lie, I had a blast building it and we accessorized the crap out of it… Cooking platform with lights, hot water showers, power for days, etc. We stripped this down to the box, reinforced the frame and replaced the tongue with a custom full articulating hitch. Added side steps, custom rear bumper and all LED lighting inside and out. Custom lid on nitrogen powered struts that can lift the lid and the tent on top to get to what you need. Literally, money was not an issue building this… At least for me… I am just the builder! This has been everywhere from southern California, northern California, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and parts of New Mexico… Proven fun for the adventurist with an overland trailer!
