I think that this is a great deal http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/5755492069.html . I have a '66 which has not been driven since 2000 and I wouldn't take less than $10K for it. Great size for an expedition vehicle, bigger than a Blazer but smaller than a later Suburban(built on a short bed pick up chassis rather than the later long bed.

I bought my 1961 for less than $2k, but then put a LOT more into it.

If it's runs and drives, I'd say it's worth it...
