I have a 1961 Series II 109 5 door Long Station Wagon with all original gauges, steps and trim with an original 1963 Martin-Walter Dormobile conversion I bought to be in a film. This vehicle was my transportation and driving well, but I needed to leave on an extended out of town location shoot and the Rover needed a new waterpump installed. I bought two water pumps before I left, adding to the collection of every possible part I could find or afford, many obscure and highly sought after, but I no longer have the luxury of time to complete my Rover project film with all my other scheduled and required work. Not all the parts are shown in the photos because they are in storage. If you are looking for a Series Rover, this 1961 Series II 5 door comes with:

A 2.5 gas engine and transmission newly built from ground up and already installed with a new old stock Santana overdrive, the original 2.25 gas engine and transmission are included, a brand new bottom power takeoff still in the original Australian Ministry of Defense shipping crate with original installation instructions and gaskets still sealed in their original packaging, a rear power takeoff and assortment of pulleys, a rear PTO drive shaft and assorted knuckles, a wheel cable pulley, three different sets of rear windows (two of them are sliding windows, the third set are the panel truck windows for my 5 door 109, a spare military hood with the tire mount, a military ambulance front brush guard, two original water and petrol carry boxes, rigged to accept a raised air intake snorkel, new and uninstalled deep water wading kit, tall grass front grill for Series II, tall grass front grill for Series III, a variety of grab handles, a radio box, a variety of rifle storage racks, water tight headlights, marker lights and tail lights, a brand new old stock and uninstalled waterproof wiring harness, a military plug-in dash search light, new and still in the box Spanish language amps, fuel and mainbeam gauge, and a new matching kilometer speedometer, an original new and in the box water temp/oil temp gauge, an original banjo steering wheel, handfulls of blank dash plates and switches, an original assortment of used military convoy lights, a variety of military interior map lights, a selection of military engine fan blades, two military oil sumps with gaskets and the engine oil cooler lollypop, military radio cables, a doubleheight military front bumper with (4) bumperettes, a variety of electrical lights and components, the Dormobile roof with canvas and vent and all the trim pieces for the interior cabinets, (2) chrome "DORMOBILE" logos, the original Martin-Walter I.D. plate to register the vehicle as a Dormobile and the original Martin-Walter I.D. plate placed on the Dormobile roof, all the original stove/sink components, the wardrobe cabinet, all the folding seats work perfectly and are very comfortable with the spring bottoms and heavily padded cushions; far more comfortable than the later made Rover seating. There are just so many parts, I know I'm forgetting half of them. This Rover also comes with an additional safari roof and there is a custom made steel roll bar that contours the entire inside of the Rover. Old Man EMU shocks, the heaviest duty four leaf Rocky Mountain Parabolic suspension, (5) Dunlop Radial Rover tires size LT235/85R16 M+S mounted on the Wolfe wheels, the original wheels are also included, (4) new and uninstalled anti-burst door locks, (2) new and uninstalled dual direction sliding front door top windows, a front winch, a rear fold down loading ramp that contours and protects the Rover when it is in the up position and has a ramp door opens perfectly in unison with the Rover's rear fifth door. I have an extra original radiator, an extra carburator and manifold,... extra everything!!! There are almost enough parts to build two different Rovers. ... Look at the photos and tell me what other photos you need. This truck currently needs the waterpump installed to run (which I have two of) and the driver's windshield is cracked from this past summer's tropical storms. I have learned that I am not handy with erecting and building cars, but if you are, this will be the Mother of all Series Rovers when it is completed. If you already have a Series Rover, use the parts you like and sell the rest or complete the Rover you have and build this Dormobile to your liking and still have many left over parts to sell. There are just so many parts here, too many to list and it all has to go in one bulk sale. One potential buyer did contact me about a possible restoration TV show which I found very interesting. If there are people who want to be involved with this restoration project or sponsors who want the exposure of their products and services, I'll certainly forward your info or amybe even collaberate with the group's restoration and project coordinator.

I totally forgot about the clam shell rear hatch and tailgate, a new old stock tunnel mat for the front seat that has never been installed, military six position ignition, There are mirors on both front fender wings and on both front doors, there are also steel cage protective baskets that contour over the tail and rear directional lights, protective baskets that contour over the front running and directional lights, a bunch of gaskets for the engine and more... There are so many parts, I can't remember them all...

ONLY 250 MARTIN-WALTER LAND ROVER DORMOBILES WERE MADE WITH THIS I.D. PLATE FOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION.

I'd love for someone to make me and offer if you have a four door pick up, diesel truck, modern SUV, or gas guzzler you want to get rid of. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and freight expenses. I won't box it up, but I'll help whomever the winning bidder hires to pack this sale for shipping.

Feel welcome to call me at 954.668.5555 cell or 954.433.4443 answering machine. E-mail me here or at ajoelweinfilm@aol.com . My work website is www.independentfilmmaker.tv

Thanks for looking.
