I know that there were some threads on the board before talking about the Land Train, but I couldn't find any to pull up.

How much fun would that be to restore it in Alaska, find some way to get licensing, and drive that back to the lower 48? maybe just the control car. Sweet find!

One of my friends services heavy equipment in Ft Mac and one of the rigs he works on is a CAT 797. He tells me a set of tires on one of those is just short of a million bucks.
