I wonder what it would weigh? Detroit Diesel of that generation? anyone have any idea what they are like? And what Allison manual transmission would be in this truck?

A usual automotive 4-53 puts out ~140hp@2800 and ~280ft-lb
More with a turbo before the Roots supercharger. It would weigh about 1200 lb.
Mentzer Detroit Diesel in Reno used to do pickup conversions with 4-53s.

My god! That beast is amazing. The thing I hated most about my J2000 was the lack of club cab. I think he just took a Wagoneer and sliced it in. I'm sorta glad I'm broke right now, otherwise it would be more tempting.

According to the tag Max GVW is 4,000 lbs so more than likely with the bigger engine it is already illegal. Maybe they meant max payload is 4,000 lbs.
