Seems like a pretty good deal on a project vehicle:

1966 Toyota FJ-40 Landcruiser - $4000 (Waco)

No connection, yadda yadda.

Original In-line 6 cyl and manual trans, new wiring harness throughout, new lights front and back, 4" lift kit, 33x12.50 Mickey Thompson tires and 15x8 wheels, new brakes, spray-liner inside and out (Ultimate Linings), original doors, no top and no guages, street legal, 4x4 works excellent, cranks instantly and runs super smooth asking $4000 or best offer.....

The spray liner makes an interesting two tone:

Honestly that seems high for that 40 but I'm sure it's "OBO"

Drop the price by half and it might be a good base for a resto.

Really? I don't know the market for 40's, or landcruisers in general, but it seems I never see one advertised for under 10k.

Oh well, maybe someone can make him an offer, like you said.

That is by no means a bad price for this 40. Looks clean to me and some good PM done. As long as it isn't rusted out. I would be leery of what that bedliner might be covering up. You can find a gauge cluster for it for $100 all day.
