I bought this recently with intentions of customizing it and building an expedition trailer with it, but I sold my full size truck and switched to a Jeep Wrangler with a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder, which pretty much rules out a trailer this size.
The trailer does not have a bed on it or lights, aside from that it is complete. The chassis has a few spots of light surface rust, but is in surprisingly good condition with no signs of cracked welds or impact damage anywhere. The data plate with the date of manufacture and serial number et al is present and in good condition.
I would estimate the approximate weight of the trailer at ~900 lbs as is. One could lighten it significantly by replacing the heavy axle with parking brakes built into the hubs. The major selling point to these is the size, the frame where the bed mounts is approximately 45"x96" so there is a lot of room to build on, and they are rated to carry a significant amount of weight.
The tires are old NDT's and are dry rotted, but they will be sufficient to bring the trailer home. I towed it about 45-50 minutes down the highway at 70-75mph without incident.
I am just looking to get my money out of it and would like to see $150 for it.
I also have a brand new (used once) Reese pintle hitch for a 2" receiver that I will throw in for $60 (I paid $90) with the trailer.
I can take pictures for any interested parties.
