Hi all! new to this forum,
I am gutting and rehabbing an 11' truck camper to go on a 2006 supercab 6.0 f250 with a reading aluminum utility body.
I have no real experience offroading but would like to build this as offroad friendly as possible to go camping off the beaten path.
I am keeping the camper superlight as I removed everything inside and it is built with 1.5" c-channel alu only 1/16". There will be no cabinets, and all the interior and ceiling will be coroplast; the only weight on a high location will be the three solar panels but they could be removed and put inside the camper when going offroad.
The TC will be slide in with electric jacks that can be removed. Any suggestion on mounting the utility body to the f250? do I need to do like the three point attachement I have seen in several post? the utility body has 1" aprox width clearance for the TC to slide in so it will be quite tight.
I bought Blinstein 5100 front and back, and falken 3 295/70/18 tires (4,080lbs load each).
The f250 already had timbrens and 2" block and reinforced leafs when I got it. I have an upper and lower overload leaf and 5 pack leaf. With 2,000lbs on the bed plus a heavy ladder rack and hightop shell the overload were still not touching when parked.
I planned to keep this build as light as possible with almost no cabinets inside, but there will be 190lbs of lifepo4 batteries and up to 39g of water all the way on the front floor of the TC.
There are 3 large solar panels on the roof 57lbs each. And there will be a minisplit AC which compressor will be attached outside on the back, which it 67lbs on the wrong place.
Any suggestions along the build welcome.
I have two different sets of aluminum 18" rims and I am not sure if there is a way to figure out which ones will be best/stronger for this; I will post pics.
Thank you!!

See attached pics. The grey truck utility body will go on the white f250. Its an aluminum utility box to keep it light; the front box on this utility body goes accross and I will have to cut it and reinforce somehow. I beleive they build most aluminio utility bodies with this cross front box to make them stronger so any suggestions welcome.
