Up for sale is my 1973 Pinzgauer 710 M troop carrier. Austrian built. Most were used by the Swiss Army then sold and importeted to the states by various importers. Parts are fairly easy to come by. There are a number of companies that carry parts for them. Expodition Importers, Swiss Army Vehicles, Cold War Remarketing, etc. This particular truck has been converted to civilian ignition. One can purchase all tune up parts from local car parts store because of this conversion. Same as with oil filter, fuel filters, headlights, etc. It has 2 brand new batteries, 2 brand new front tires and spare. The rear tires are in fair to good condition. It has the 24 volt to 12volt converter installed for running GPS, Radio, Off Roadlights etc. The exterior is in good condition. It spent a number of years in Hawaii and then in AZ with the same owner. The paint is shines nicely. It is a very presentable vehicle. The rear canvas top is in good condition. The front is also in good to fair condition. There is one patch in the front section just behind the passengers head. It keeps you dry and looks just fine. The interior, what there is of one, is in good condition. The driver seat could stand to be recovered or replace both of them with some more confortable seats. They are plenty functional for weekend runs and just bumin' around town.
The truck has been taken care of very well mechanically. The clutch feels good. Brakes stop the truck as they should. No abnormal noise coming from the drive line. It has the Exec II upgrade. I have over $6,200 in service records for the last 10 or so years from the gentelman I bought it from. Including the Exec II upgrade. Which by itself was $3k. All of that work was done by T-Lo's Ultimate Offroad in Prescott AZ.
