1975 Volvo C306 TGB21 for sale

Low mileage, well cared for military 6x6. Excellent condition without any rot. Starts, runs and drives great! 5 speed manual transmission that is split with high and low gearing (10 speed overall). Locking differentials in all axles. All original military vehicle with minor functional adds such as a branch new Superwinch 9.5 Talon winch with custom front and rear Heavy duty Bumpers. The truck has good NDT tires and a very clean and low mileage drivetrain at 42232 km (26k miles). To the best of my knowledge, all systems work as expected.

Top speed as set up is 50 mph. I have a set of brand new, never installed set of fast axle ring and pinions to allow the truck to drive at 60+ mph. All manuals in English (electronic files). The truck is very easy to work on with easy access to the engine.

The engine is an originally fitted Volvo B30 2.9 ltr straight 6 gas engine. This engine was also used in their cars of the period. Parts are readily available and the truck has plenty of power with this 6 cylinder. I believe that this truck would be a great candidate for a Volvo diesel conversion should the gasser ever meet its demise, although these engines are known for their durability and seem to last forever.

This is a 40+ year old vehicle, but runs and drives very well for its age. Do you research on these trucks, these were built for the same contract as the first Pinzgauers. Many parts are available at a local NAPA auto parts store. Volvo engineers used many components from their auto and truck lines when building this vehicle.

This is a 3 ton capacity truck. The truck looks bigger than it is, because of the 3rd axle. It's actually only 238" (19.8') long, with a 146" (12.2') wheelbase, 84" (7') wide and 110" (9.1') high and weighs 7475 lbs. it's smaller than my Ford pickup.

The truck has a 8'+ bed behind the passenger compartment. The bed has drop down sides for easy loading/unloading of cargo or toys. The rear passenger compartment has access from the cargo bed, and would be fun to put bench seats in to make this a great family hauler for camping or wheeling! The sides of the passenger area open for a jeep feel during nice weather and are weatherproof for wet or cold weather.

The truck comes with a clean Florida title and is currently registered as a antique (collectable).

The truck is located on the Cheyenne, WY
