This is a Home Market (Right-hand-drive) 1976 Land Rover Series 3 Diesel Station Wagon model (109”). I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle in California. It currently has a CLEAN California title and registration (see uncensored license plate picture). I have owned this vehicle for the last two years restoring her and modifying for function not form. In my opinion this vehicle is not a concurs candidate, but it is honest and reliable (as much as Leyland-era Rovers can be). As such I have modified this vehicle with the intent to improve reliability and capability for off-road camping excursions in California. This particular wagon is powered by a 2.25 Diesel engine (17 city / 19 highway mpg) with a 19.5 gallon gas tank and utilizes a 4-speed manual transmission. This vehicle also has the highly sought after Fairey Overdrive unit (this was an optional factory installed component). This overdrive unit enables the Rover to reach speeds of 65 mph on flat ground. The standard gearing tops out at 45 mph. However your speed will drastically reduce upon incline (momentum vehicle).
In addition to the vehicle I will also be including in the sale my entire inventory of spare rover parts (158 units spanning 38 different categories) *This inventory will be listed as a screenshot on the ad*

MODIFICATIONS
Fire Extinguisher mounted next to driver / Jerry-Can mount & Slow moving vehicle sign / Farm-Jack (Hi-lift) / Front-Runner folding table / Pair of Baja Designs XL80’s (19,000 Lumens total) / LED remote-controlled cabin lighting for the rear cargo bay / modern oil-filter upgrade (pending installation)
AREAS OF CONCERN FOR NEW OWNER:
Rear main seal leaking (replacement seal included in sale)
Front left axle swivel ball seal leaking (set of swivel ball seals included in sale) *No pitting on swivel balls*
Top half of Drivers-Side door is cracked / rusted beyond reasonable repair and needs to be replaced ( Rovers North sells this component for $500).
Minor Galvanic rust where the steel body meets the aluminum frame (this is expected). This typically happens on the bottom of the doors.
Steering is slightly loose, need to replace rack & pinion ball joints ( ½ ball joints required for replacement included in sale)
In short; She doesn’t have the concurs look with a fresh paint job, but mechanically she’s all there.
