No affiliation, and the writeup seems thin - but a neat truck.

from ad: A great 1982 Land Rover Santana 109. It has a 1989 2.5 liter diesel engine. A great daily driver. It needs minor surface rust removal (naval jelly and a steel brush will yield bare metal). It has new front bucket seats and fold up rear seats. A rebuilt radiator and many other repairs and improvements. The top can be removed with a wrench. 23,000 original miles. left hand drive and NO locking hubs!!! IT HAS A CLEAN NORTH CAROLINA TITLE.

a 1982 car with a 1989 engine...

and only 38,000km ......I'd say 138K would probably account for the engine change and bodywork damage in the pics..
still looks nice though

Santana? Stay away!

Truth is, I don't have any first hand experience, but, from what I've read, even though they're license builds, they're different from Solihull Land Rovers in almost every way. 1982 was the last year for Santana built LRs and so represents the very most different.

So, say adios (pun intended) to parts interchangeability and even predictable builds.
