Specialty Diesel, LLC of Gresham is in the process of putting together one of the sweetest RV's known to man. We are building a 1982 Toyota 18ft Sunrader, turbo diesel, 4 wheel drive with a solid front axle. This guy started life out as a 2 wheel drive automatic with a 22R gas engine. The frame has been swapped out for a factory solid front axle 4x4 toyota frame. The new power plant is a Toyota 2.4L 2LT turbo diesel engine mated to a 5 speed Toyota transmission and transfer case. The engine has been professionally rebuilt with new pistons, rings, new gaskets and seals, resurfaced crank shaft, new head, rebuilt injection pump and rebuilt injectors. The Sunrader also has a new clutch, new bushings, new shocks, new tires/wheels, winch bumper, power steering, AC, adjustable air bags, and a multitude of other new parts.

This is a complete, frame off restoration/conversion. The cab was removed, sanded, primed, and painted. The shell is almost finished being completely renovated with the inclusion of modern, high efficiency appliances and fixtures, extra insulation over and above what came from the factory, a tankless hot water heater, custom cabinetry, reupholstered cushions, etc. This is an 18' model that currently has a 1-ton dually, full floating, rear axle.

The Sunrader is still being completed but is slated to be finished by the end of March, at which time it will be available for viewing and test driving. The starting price for this Sunrader is $40,000 but we will be taking offers. Feel free to contact us at the number posted. Or if you have any questions feel free to email them. Camping season upon us! Thanks and take care!

This is the second one of these I've seen being sold in this price range. This one, with a frame off restoration, seems like it might be worth it. Thoughts?

To the poster, is this yours? If so, consider moving it to the 'vehicles for sale by expo members' thread.

Hello, no it is not mine. I will be clearer the next time but I put in the first line...no connection.
Thanks
