I am posting this for a friend.
-110k original miles on motor and chassis
-Nissan Z24 2.4L inline 4 cyl motor
-5 speed manual transmission
-four wheel drive with automatic locking hubs (2H, 4H, N, and 4L all engage and disengage easily and work well)
-Clear CO title
-bucket seats up front, fold-down jump seats in the back (complete w/ seatbelts)
-Sony Xplod CD stereo
-Alloy wheels w/ Goodyear studded snow tires with 5/32" average tread depth
-adjustable pneumatic shocks
-new(ish) starter, alternator, battery, and belts
-starts and runs great, but doesn't idle well when cold and has little power from standstill or moving uphill
-speedometer & tachometer recently stopped working
I had the timing professionally adjusted and advanced, and replaced the upper ball joints. The lowers need replaced as well.
the motor feels tired despite the relatively low miles. I was hoping it was ignition timing, but that didn't fix it. perhaps the cam timing is off? maybe it just needs the carburetor rebuilt. Worst case scenario it needs a top-end rebuild. I don't know.
will sell for $1300 (firm) this is what I have into it in the last week, and I need to make it back.
