1984 Toyota 2.4L Diesel Pick-up. Runs and drives. 275,000 miles. I have owned this pickup for over ten years. Bought it as a high school student in Oregon, and it has been my baby. Brought it up with me three years ago, and it has slowly been driven less and less. Would love to pass it on to another Toyota enthusiast who understands what this pickup is.
This is a stock Toyota diesel pickup manufactured for, and imported to the states in 1984. Several parts dealers and other Toyota nuts have explained that far less than 2000 of these trucks actually made it to the states. Comes with original driver's manual and mechanics manual.
Please no "low-ballers" I know the rarity of this pick-up. If you don't, and can't understand the price, it's not for you...
Good:
Painted in 2010
Custom Flat bed installed in 2010
New Fuel pump, added auxiliary assist fuel pump
New Water pump
New timing belt
valve adjustment
Installed "Add a leaf"leaf spring kit
31X11 Toyo mud terrain tires 40%
New carpet kit installed
The Bad:
Needs an oil pan gasket: Have gasket making equipment, but have not installed. Willing to negotiate if I don't have to do it.
Cracked dashboard (find one that isn't)
Minor dent on the hood. Unfortunately the best place to see it is from the driver's seat.
Missing bumper valance.
Burns a little oil
