1984 Ramcharger

Well Let me get started with a little intro...I used to have a 85 suburban that I would use to go offroading and to venture the desert around El Paso... Around 2 years ago I chose to sell it(regret it) and got a Grand Cherokee WJ...I got rid of it because it was starting to have way to many issues and got a 79 bronco which is my restoration project. I have a bronco II that is pretty fixed up but with the freeze last year cracking the block I chose to park it and wait to have another motor. This brings me to the 1984 ramcharger...I saw it on craigslist for 1500 obo thought of going to look at it and kinda forgot about it. When me and my ex broke up I chose to buy an offroad truck to mess around with one of the requirements being it has to be a second daily driver just in case my mustang had to get any work done on it. Well I went to take a look at it ...considering that the ramcharger had been up for sale now for more than maybe 2 months. I got there and saw it and fell in love with it. Had a good amount of after market work clean interior and drove like a dream.
this is how it looked when I got it...

Now right off the bat I wanted 33x12.5x15 so trimmed the fenders and chose to paint the hood.

Soon after did an HID conversion to the headlights

To add to all this I only payed 700 bucks for this Ramcharger :) loving it

From there I started taking it on trails but I am looking to make it more of a camping vehicle and daily drive.

After that one of my friends showed me a bumper and chose to buy it put it on..

Next on my list of modifications is my cb and my power inverter...already ordered the dual antenna kit and amp wiring kit for the power inverter.

Like the RC, but a gloss black hood? It'd be hot here in Cali summer.

What are the long range goals for the RC, or simply fun?

Ya It gets hot here in El Paso tx but i dont know why I have always had an obsession with black... might rethink the whole color thing and go flat sand paint on it. We will see it was just and experiment to see how rustoleums went on lol
