I need to sell or trade this bike off before winter. I have lots of other bikes and really do not need this one.
It is a 1985 BMW K100
52K miles
Good tires
No leaks
Runs great.
Oregon title, you will have no trouble in any other state licensing it. I will even go to the DMV with you.
The story on this bike is that, when I owned a Ducati-Husqvarna-Vespa dealership in Oregon a guy traded it in. Somehow during the closing of the shop our sales guy lost the paperwork. I tossed in in my storage and forgot about it.
I have now sorted the missing paperwork and have a clear title. Since I have been a BMW mechanic for a long time, and I had a few parts sitting around, I gave this bike a pretty good servicing. There are lots of new gaskets, hoses and little stuff like that on it.
Usually when you see a K100, it is hammered. This one is not and I am confident whoever ends up with it will get another 50K out of it.
I am asking $2500 for it. I am also willing to consider trades in full or part. I will consider anything in trade, please ask.
