Spare 2L-T Toyota Diesel engine
I had this truck imported from Japan since they were never produced in the US. It is a rare vehicle that only Toyota enthusiasts will understand the price. It is a particularly special deal considering I have a spare 2L-T Toyota diesel engine that originally came in the Hilux. It sucked the #4 cylinder valve seat. Instead of fixing the original engine I bought a new/used one with only 50,000 miles on it. I had Edmonds Import Autos in Palmer, AK install the new/used one. This allows the original engine to be used as a parts engine or if someone wanted they could rebuild it and have another complete Toyota diesel engine. The rest of the truck is identical to the Toyota 4-Runner produced in the US and is easy to find parts for. This truck is my dream truck and it has been a blast to own! Unfortunately I have moved out of AK and it is unrealistic for me to get it back. My loss your gain. I have a video of the engine running. I have included a photo of the truck after cleaning it in UT to show how nice it can clean up...sorry for the dirty photos. I have it priced at 15,000 which I think is reasonable but does not mean it is a fixed price. Give me a call or text and I would be happy to chat with you about the Hilux.
