There were only 4 extended cab, turbo, 22rte 4x4 Sunrader's ever made. It has about 84,000 miles on it with a newly rebuilt engine and new turbo. Just completed putting $7000 into axel and other upgrades to make this one of the best out there. Among other things, it has sway bars, airbags, custom e brake, etc. Interior is newly refurbished as well, and everything works as it should. The interior of the cab is almost as new, and AC blows cold. I would seriously like to keep it, and will if price is not met. Selling becuase the upgrade work ran much higher than I anticipated. If not sold in a few days, I will likely keep it. The shop that did the work is one of the best in the 4x4 biz (Lavandar Brothers in Monterey). Serious inquires only please, and the price of $38,000 is FIRM. This price is high, I know, about $9000 more than the last one sold for on Ebay, but it is also needing nothing. Again, please, no tire kickers and the price is 100 percent firm...I need to sell, but don't have to sell. In my opinion, this is a great little rig. It is not an Earthroamer, not as capable as a Sportsmobile or VW Syncro, and not a 4x4 Fuso (I had one), but IMHO for the money it is fantastic. Thanks for looking. Here is a link for pics:

Wow, so cool! That price is insane though, $38K is sportsmobile territory. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody actually bought it.

Were 1987 trucks still solid axle?

last year of solid axle was '85.

But he said in the ad that he just put 7k into axles or something, so maybe he did a SAS? I cant imagine that thing would be good to wheel though...
