1987 Jeep Cherokee (parts or project vehicle)

I am selling a 1987 Jeep Cherokee as a parts or project vehicle. I bought this to harvest a few parts for my other Jeep that I drowned and killed the engine. The body is in remarkably good shape for the age. I cannot find any rust on it and the paint is still in good shape. I think the odometer has around 240k miles on it.

The vehicle is missing the following: engine, exhaust, radiator, front passenger seatbelt latch, one roll up window handle, outside rear view mirrors, front door speakers.

I only drove this from the previous seller to my house (about 25 miles). In that time I can tell you the transmission (automatic) seemed to work without any issues. There were no strange vibrations or noises. The suspension is very squishy. The air conditioning blows cold (I left this intact under the hood and just tied it up). Tires are bald. Windshield has a crack on the passenger side.

The registration is current, but I never finished re-registering the vehicle (required it to be smogged) in my name since I was just using it for the engine and other parts.

The vehicle will have to be towed (obviously since it has no engine). Even if you want to take it and part it out yourself you could make some money.

I have this posted on CraigsList at $350 and just dawned on me that maybe someone here may want it. The wife would sure like to see it disappear from the driveway. The vehicle is located in San Ramon, CA (SF - east bay).

I seem to be having issues attaching a photo. You can view some photos of the Jeep here. http://gallery.me.com/pjpvi/100091

Thanks for looking!
