1987 Syncro Vanagon Getaway / BOSTIG powered
Price : $34,000 CAD (a deal if you are south of the border!)
Please send all inquiries to jon@sojournfocus.com
If you have been looking for a clean Syncro with additional cargo space, insulation from the cold and a ton of upgrades, read on! This reliable Syncro will take you wherever you want to go - on or off the beaten path! Body was reconditioned about 6 years ago. Slight surface rust on lower frame. No rot. (They do not use road salt here in Vancouver and it rarely snows - vehicles last forever).
This bus features a BOSIG engine conversion (Ford Zetec - for reliability and easy servicing), upgraded suspension (Old Man Emu) / drive train (bushings, shocks, coils, drive shaft, axles, big brakes), cosmetics (South African Grille, LT Mirrors, SA Wheels, bumpers etc), a clean body (no rust or rot) and many other treats (solar powered 12v fridge, 120v inverter, Propex heater, full Hella lighting, awning, roll-o-meter...).
Basically put, it's everything you could ever want in a bus and then some! And it's all for a VERY reasonable price!
I have finished my journey for now and require a more practical daily driver, otherwise I would be keeping this awesome adventure rig!
