Hey CLers,

I'm selling my clean title 87' 4runner with 114k original miles. The car has spent its life in California and thus is rust free and very straight. I drove it from the Bay Area, CA to Denver a month ago with no issues. It has the famously reliable 22re engine with a 5 speed manual transmission, removable top, 4x4, and is in stock condition - very rare for this year.

The car has had extensive maintenance in the past 4,000 miles:

- New radiator & hoses
- New head & valve adjustment
- New spark plugs and wires
- New distributor cap & rotor
- New water pump
- New slave cylinder
- Flushed heater core (blows hot)
- New windshield sprayer motor
- Oil change

The engine runs like a champ and the clutch and tranny feel great. All lights/blinkers work, and rear window works from inside and from key. Tires have 80% tread. The interior is pretty clean for the year - no rips/tears and the carpets are new. The exterior has some fading on the hood and roof, but is straight and looks good from 20-30 feet.

Bottom line - this is a rare do-it-all SUV that was engineered around having fun. It is fine the way it is, but is a perfect foundation for a SAS rock crawler project or a restoration. She is not perfect, but she's stock, low mileage, and well maintained.

$6,500 obo or trade up/down for Sub Forester (04'+) or Cherokee sport (98-01').

Thanks!
