1987 with manual 5-speed transmission.
FEATURES:
This van has most of the options offered in 1987, with a few options missing to be "fully loaded". High and Low t-case with shift lever, so reliable and proven. These have super-reliable 4 cylinder EFI engines, with 1987 receiving the larger 2.2L engine. Seats for 7. Sliding door on one side, rear door lifts open.
Manual windows but power locks, cruise control, power mirrors, fridge/freezer in center console, front and rear A/C (which may need re-charged) and heat), rear defrost grid and wiper, full instruments including tach and oil psi, triple odometers, courtesy turn signal lights, dome and map lights, arm rests on front bucket seats, large sliding windows for middle row bench seat, automatic locking hubs, tilt and power steering, intermittent wipers, working digital clock, etc. I installed a CD player and the 4 speakers sound pretty good for 80's technology.
CONDITION:
Starts easily and runs great. Has a rust hole directly behind the sliding door, just in front of the passenger rear wheel. Other than that, the body has no major damage and is surprisingly clean for the year. The tires all have LOTS of tread remaining and were recently balanced as well as rims stripped and re-painted. Has brand nearly brand new brakes up front. It will need a windshield as it has a crack. There is a sliding window for the 2nd row that has been broken out and replaced with Plexi. This model had factory tinted glass on rear 2 rows of seats. I have access to a non-tint window, but it would be odd to install with the rest being tinted. Also, as happens on MOST of these 4x4 rigs, the 3rd row windows are cracked but intact. I have 1 spare pane to fix this. They seem to do this since they are 1-piece windows and the van is unibody. Other models have multi-piece windows and don't have this issue. It would be recommended to find these style windows rather than replace a window that will likely be a problem again... 3rd row seat has some holes, but is completely functional if more than 4 people need a ride.
I bought this when I was looking for a van like this. Ended up with 3, and wife says only one can stay. One has already been sold, so this is the next one to sell. I am keeping a nearly idential model for myself.
This is one of the cleanest versions I have seen. Includes copy of current Carfax with no issues. Always been in Colorado, mostly in the mountains. Located in Denver, CO. PM for questions.
