Here is the scoop: 1988 with automatic trans with push-button overdrive. Push-button 4x4 with manual Aisin locking hubs. These have super-reliable 4 cylinder EFI engines. Starts easily and runs great. Seats for 7, with the back seats folding flat to sleep 2 people. Sliding door on one side, rear door lifts open. Has a good amount of rust, but for 23 years old, it surely could be worse. Other than that, the body has no major damage. Don't expect a show stopper, but rather a daily driver beater, work van, or just a cheap mild offroad winter van. It will need a windshield as it has some cracks. Also has a single broken "courtesy" light on the passenger front corner, which is not a violation for a ticket as it isn't a turn signal or parking light. I have a replacement lens, but haven't installed it. The tires all have LOTS of tread remaining but are showing signs of age. Time may be the killer rather than miles unless you put a lot of miles on in the next year or two. This is basically a no-frills van. Manual windows, manual locks, tape deck, working analog clock, etc. Has brand new fuel pump and fresh oil change. Needs a muffler, but can easily be driven home.

I bought a 1987 from a guy locally and this was a package deal. Take them both or neither. I wanted the 87, so I ended up with the 88 as well. No need for it, so it must go. $1,500 for members. Located in Denver, CO.

very fair price on a neat rig.

one thing, though.
the EFI 4-cylinder is only super-reliable as long as the cooling system is in good shape. been there, done that.

No overheating and it runs smoothly. The body is the worst part of the whole rig. If you can deal with that, then you won't be disappointed at all.

weren't those renowned for being the "most stolen" vehicles in Los Angeles back in the day? I think they were. Interesting :ylsmoke:
