Just throwing this up there to see if anyone REALLY wants an old school 'burb. Here's the problem with this car, I'm about $3500 in to it in the last couple of years. So I'd be asking $4000 for it.
The good...
40,000 miles on rebuilt 454 (fuel injected)
20,000 miles on rebuilt Turbo 400 transmission
cooling system completely replaced (water pump, hoses, radiator, etc)
new alternator
all fluids changed
fresh tune up
new oil cooler lines
new power steering lines
R-134 air conditioning recharged, equipped with factory rear air
10,000 miles on 33x12.5x16.5 BFG AT's on alloy wheels
all power windows/locks work
trailer hitch
brake controller
interior is in good/great condition, no tears in upholstery, no sag in headliner, carpet is in fair-good condition, no holes
dark tint on rear windows
custom lift
Rancho 9000 shocks (opinions differ)
The bad...
the truck is only 2wd
Rancho 9000 shocks (see above, I hate them)
the body is a little (or a lot) beat
white paint is literally falling off, no rust issues, always been a SoCal car, two previous owners were friends
fuel economy
If I didn't have more toys than I could afford already, I'd put a tcase and a solid front axle in this beast and use it for Baja. It would be perfect down there. It would make a great tow rig, and there is plenty of room in the back for an air matress and two people to sleep.
As you can tell by the asking price, I'm not in any hurry to sell it, I still drive it almost daily to the Park-n-Ride. No one in his right mind would risk jail to steal it, nothing in it worth breaking in to it for (stereo is junk).
I can get some pics if there is any interest.
