I have a 1988 Defender 110 for sale that I've imported myself from South Africa.
She's a nice truck, needs a little work as it's all original but really is in good shape.
She was given zebra decal stripes as it was used by a photo journalist for NatGeo in Etosha National Park, Namibia. The car was purchased in the UK and transported down to South Africa (VIN is UK).
VIN: SALLDHMN7EA333403
Clear Omaha Nebraska Title
Located in Omaha Nebraska
As is sale: No Warranty
Legally imported from South Africa - all import fees paid, all import documents in hand
Rover 3.5L V8
Right Hand Drive
High/Low and Diff Lock
Seats are in great condition
Galvanized Bull Bar with winch mount opening
Hood spare tire mount & Rear Tire mount (optional 2 spares)
Long range tanks
Bottom of doors no rust
Chassis no rust
Tires: 235/85/R16
New Battery New breaks (calipers, pads, pistons, shoes)
The plating on the foot-wells seem to be only for durability.
No rust underneath.

*Stripes are NOT painted on*
Work Needed: The truck is an all original, 3.5L Rover V8. If you know Defenders they could always use a little work. But nothing major jumps out to me. When the front tires are cranked really hard you hear a clunk in the front. I am still investigating but it hasn't changed the performance. If you're planning a hard expedition you will want upgrades or newer parts put on. If you want to cruise around for a while first, she's ready to go today.
Thank you for reading.
