I put my Iveco 120-23 up for auction on Bringatrailer.com and it didn’t come close to the reserve. Probably wrong audience for a truck like this.
This is a 12 ton GVW, 230 HP, 6 speed truck. The little brother to this truck is called a 90-16 which is a 9 ton, 160 HP, 5 speed. With 70 more HP and a 6 speed this pulls up grades so much better than the 90-16. There are a few 90-16 trucks in the US but this is the only 120-23 I’m aware of. Its easy to drive, goes down the road strait and does not wander like so many big off road trucks do at high speed. The cab is very quiet compared to Unimogs. I have owned a 404, 416 Doka and a 1300L and I have enjoyed this truck a lot more than those. The rest of the fire equipment and water tank can easily be removed to give you a very nice camper box. It has room for 2 Queen beds in the back, and 3 roof top tents if you needed to sleep an army.
9-10 passenger cab
24,000 KM (about 15,000 miles)
Top speed is about 68 MPH
No CDL required to drive it
V8 Deutz 230 HP Diesel - dealers for this motor all over the USA.
Full time all wheel drive, with center and rear locking differentials.
Low and high range
45x14.5 inch Michelin XZL tires
MRAP 2 piece wheels
Clean Oregon Title
YouTube video of the truck below. Later in the video it shows it going down the highway in the low 60mph range. At the end of the video it shows all the custom work you can do to them as I video my 90-16 Iveco.
And here is a link to more photos and information when it was up for auction.
