I'm sort of thinking it's time to sell my Jeep. I don't have a garage, or the time.
I've driven it for the last 11 years. The odo reads approx 230k miles. It's a 4.2 straight six. I had a rebuilt put in at ~205k, and a Weber 38/38 ($540) sits on top, which is ~3 years old (10k miles?).
The tranny is a Dodge NV4500 5-speed, 5.6 first gear which I bought new from Advance Adapters with a bell housing adapter plate, not a custom bell housing (~$1800). They don't seem to sell new NV45000 units anymore.
The tranny is mated to an NP231 HD with a short shaft kit (I paid $800, now they sell it for $975). It has 29 splines between the two.
Tranny and t-case installed at ~196k.
I have a 1" body lift($125), 2.5" Rubicon Express spring lift (standard kit, not the extreme duty)-$550 (now it's $780).
This was put on at ~215k.
There's also a 10" wide deluxe stereo console, which isn't currently installed. ~$210 (now it's $221)...btw its $289 at 4wd.com so shop around!
All this sits on 31" bfg AT KO's with quite a bit (70%) of tread left.
Priceless... (seriously, I usually don't buy cars without tires).
It's been in 2 fender benders, which was easily fixed, but....
What it needs:
Fender's (a deer and a tree got the best of them). I was planning on tube fenders or something sturdy.
Grill (see above). I have one that just needs to be installed.
Wires. I had an electrical fire about 5 years ago, took it to an auto electrician to get it fixed. Most things work, but not all. I recommend Painless Part # 10111. I have been driving it as is though. ($850 at various places)
Windshield frame. I see rust in it, and I had to remove one of the screws that mounts between it and the roll bar as it got stripped.
I've only put about 3k miles on it in the last 2 years.
I've put about $5600 worth of hardware on this.
