1990 711D or 1998 814D for new build

Hi. I'm new to the forum and to this type of build. Having had a couple of smaller campers Its time to build something bigger and more robust that will go a distance and survive a bit of rough going.

I am looking at 2 panel vans for a build. Not much to seperate them on price or mileage. The older one is showing a few signs of the extra years but nothing serious.

I'd be interested to hear the pros of the older van or whether the more modern machine is the no brainer.
