This truck is located in Denver, CO and it has to go. I will take 2,200.- or best offer.
It is a former fire and rescue truck driven by the captain of a fire department in Southwestern Colorado and it was always well taken care of. The truck has 225,000 miles on the clock, but the engine was replaced with factory new 350 fuel injected engine at 175,000 (so there is about 50,000 miles on the engine). My friend bought this truck about three years ago. Over the last year he had replaced the transmission by GM certified rebuild 4L80E transmission and Torque converter. He had also installed new radiator, new water pump, new front rotors, new calipers, new brake shoes, new rear brakes, new drive shafts. It has factory fuel injection, ABS, working air conditioning, factory dark tint windows, draw tight hitch and trailer wiring, new Kenwood stereo and speakers.
I bought this truck from my friend a couple of months ago thinking that I could finish the "work in progress" and turn it into my "discover the wild west" truck. Personal difficulties made me unable to finish this project and it needs to go. The truck is not perfect, especially visually. Body has dents, paint is faded, left front fender has been replaced by a fender from another truck and the color doesn't match, drivers side door needs adjustment, it needs new windshield, tires, transfer case has a small leak and there is also coolant dripping from one of the connectors.
