Very cool build! I have been thinking about a ls 5.3 in my 100 series. That tcase looks aluminum. Sure it's a np205? I'm almost 100% positive (I zoomed in on the tag) it's an np208 chain driven case aluminum with slip yoke. Also, Why not use tbi instead of a carb in this build? 87-91 gm trucks all had it

I've used 208s plenty in my Chevys. I currently use the np241.
