For sale, an extremely rare original 2-door Discovery I, well-maintained 134k miles, *original* 200Tdi engine and LT77 five speed box, not a refit. Imported from Spain. Runs great, Tdi fires up on first shot and ticks over perfectly. No smoke, turbo spools up smooth as can be and will cruise all day at 80 (mph!). Has R134 air conditioning. Brakes, clutch, steering all work as they should, tires have plenty of tread left on the original steel 16” rims. Spain being a climate well-suited to Land Rovers, the frame looks like it’s about six months old.
The blue interior is completely original apart from a replacement AM/FM cassette that works, and the headliner is not that usual stuff that sags so it is completely intact. The two front seats fold forwards so passengers can get in the back, there’s a ton of legroom and it really is a genuine seven seater as it has the two rear inward facing jumpsuits with seatbelts.
New clutch master and slave, tow hitch, all electrics and lights work correctly, two sets of keys.
Driver seat has a tear in the usual spot, car was repainted at some point in the original blue.
The rear windows fold out for ventilation. Has the original cargo cover. Plastic valance along the tailgate edge is cracked. The Rislan (LR powder coating) coating on the rear light guards has flaked off. The front brush guard has a few little chunks out of it and has a little split on the driver side. The bodywork is all very straight and true. Some light scratching and scuffs.
There are very few of these left on the road in this condition, and even more rare is the two door option. An original Tdi manual five speed that will not disappoint. Drive it anywhere.
please send me any questions or inquiries you have I’ll be happy to get right back to you. Vehicle is in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
