I've been on here for a while looking at other peoples builds, thought I would post some of my work in progress. I bought this truck to do a cummins swap in, then decided to go in the direction of a expo rig.
It has a P-pumped 24 valve, NV5600 transmission with a southbend dual disk clutch, NP 241 transfer case and a Dana 80 rear out of a Dodge. This truck started out as a running, driving 460 automatic truck,
I purchased it about 120 miles south of me, drove it for two weeks then tore it apart!

Smog was easy. I have done jeeps in the past, so I knew how the gas engine swaps worked. I called the referee and spoke with him about what the rules were going diesel,
same as gas same year engine or newer than the vehicle. My case 1992 truck, 1994 engine good to go. No smog since the truck is older than 1998.
