I'm a noob here but was directed to this website from TN Offroad Forum, thanks for the space ExpeditionPortal.. I'm on DWEB and TNRovers as Ol'Drippy as well, anyhow, here goes..
This has been a difficult decision, but the time has come to let it go. Truck is located in Knoxville, TN and I'll start the asking price at $3,750.00 OBO. As many of us on here, there has been alot more than the asking price spent on work and parts on this truck over the past couple of years. I'll start out with copying my description from my post where I was looking to trade it.. which I'm still open to trades, just let me know.
My '93 RRC has had lots of work done to it. Bought it with a blown 3.9, replaced with a 4.2 from Will Tillery which was gone over, heads, valves, gaskets.. hoses, water pump, plugs, wires, cap, et al.. All engine work was done by Outback Offroad in Chattanooga, Joey knows his Rovers well. The brake system on this truck was toast when I got it so with parts robbed from my old Disco (aka Ol'Drippy) it was converted to NON-ABS, truck stops well now.
Currently has 2" OME shocks/springs with RTE front and rear HD links (actually for the 5" lift) and extended brake lines. HD steering rod from Outback Offroad, Mantec Snorkel and QT Services light pod, 235/85 Goodyear MT/Rs in good shape, nice Alpine cd player with ipod hookup.
The bad.. saggy headliner, a/c needs charged (heater works good
, cruise control doesn't work. Cats were removed so this truck probably wouldn't pass emissions if you have that where you live. Dash is lit up like a Christmas tree (mainly due to ABS being removed) but all seems well right now.
This really is a nice truck that just needs to get used.
