Up for sale is a 1995 Cobra Pop Up Camper we had purchased last year to customize for us to pull up into the mountains to get to the good camping spots with our Jeep Wrangler. Upon finishing it, we used it and realized that we love wheeling, but camping - not so much. So all our hard work could be yours if the price is right :)

Our test run of the camper - we towed it with my severly under geared 2010 jeep jk 4 door wrangler. She had no problems pulling the camper up into the hills. We took her off road on a moderate trail for a couple of miles before setting up camp away from everyone with a Subaru/Tahoe. once set up mother nature decided to test our abilities and down poured for some time over 4th of july weekend and the camper stood her ground! not 1 drop of water leakage. The canvas/tent is in great shape. The awning connects to the camper itself, so it was great while set up. From the looks of it, I don't think it was used very often. And due to the high clearance of the camper - no contact with anything on the camper! It is 25" of ground clearance from the frame to the ground!

We started with a stock 1995 Cobra Elite pop up camper... ditched the cute little stock tires and a axle - ordered up a brand new 3500# trailer axle custom made to spec from Parker Trailers with a 5x5 bolt pattern that will match up with newer jeeps bolt patterns. If you add a 1/2 spacer on the hub - you can use the Stock Rubicon rims as well. (was also our plan - but - plans change.) She is currently sitting on my stock 2010 jeep jk rims and tires.
After lifting it we resealed the entire camper - then repainted it a true white and added new graphics all around. We also added the vent topper to allow the camper to have good airflow while in storage to prevent any musty camper smells.
We then went to lightening the weight of the trailer and removing items that were not needed. We removed the cook top from inside to allow more room for your bags and such. We also removed the refrigerator as they are always too small. We replaced it with a nicely sized cooler which works much better and holds a lot more food! The cooler is included.
We also painted the interior white and laid down the faux wood flooring to finish things off. There is also a folding table for the interior that is included as well. The cushions for the dinette were recovered in a more modern fabric. The mattress covers are original, but in wonderful conditions as well as all of the foam (all cushion covers and curtains were removed and washed just before our trip in July) the curtains are functional - however one above where the previous owners had set the grill has a hole (smaller than a soda can bottom - but that is the closest size to reference). It was planned that eventually the curtains would be updated as well, but they match the matress covers so they were re-hung after being washed. We used the table for some time during the rain storm playing dominos and such. The beds are a touch smaller than full size - the full size fitted sheets that I had on were a little loose.
Pictured is our trailer hitch grill (Margaritaville propane) - it is currently not included - but if you are good at negotiating - we may be able to work something out. Two Hitch mounts were added to the back. The Margaritaville grill has a hitch mount swing out arm that allowed us to grill outside of the camper while it was set up. But these hitches could be used for many different uses (bumper dumper, trash bag frame, bike rack while at camp, etc.)
We also removed the gas lines from the camper as we didn't think we would be needing the heater (which we were told works when we bought it) - so if you would like to run the heater - a new heater line will be needed from the heater up to the dual propane tank storage rack.
We still have the 2 propane tanks that we can include in the sale as well.
There are also a bunch of jack stands included in the storage closet for leveling things out. we left it hitched to the jeep to make life easier. we have an extension that is included if you choose to keep it hitched to the rig while open as well.

Here are the dimensions:
the length down the side on the bottom (please see pics - this is the side of the camper where the front and back are "boated" or the side that the door is located on) = 80"
The top of the camper length (again - the side that the door is on at the roof) = 8 1/2'
The width is 7'2" - it tracked great behind our Jeeps.
The total height of the camper when closed = 6'
