1995 grandby fridge problem!

Hey all, I've been around for a little while on here soaking in all the great info, now I just ran into an issue that I haven't been able to search my way out.

I am the new owner of a 95 grandby and loving it, until I accidentally broke a capillary tube for the propane thermostat on the fridge. I have the thermostat, which is attached to the gas valves it looks like, removed from the camper. I went around locally and couldn't find any luck getting parts and the folks at dometic said it was discontinued. I had hopes of just getting another thermostat from another model and making it work but all the ones that I have found are standalone thermostats that arnt attached to the gas valve.

Also the fridge model is rm2202, product number: 9211301-01 and the part number of the gas thermostat is 2923755025

Any thoughts?

I ditched my 3 way fridge and replaced it with a "Truckfridge" brand 12v compressor fridge and couldn't be happier. Those old 3 ways are a headache to maintain imo and don't really work that great even when they are running as intended.

I have been thinking of that option as well. I'm just worried about power to run it all the time. What is your set up like?

I have 200 watts of solar on the roof and I never sweat the juice for the fridge and seem to be able to run it as often as needed. I can actually just leave food in it and run it when parked for weeks. The fridge only draws 2.5 amps. I will say in the winter months the batteries deplete faster each eve, and running the furnace+fridge combined with less daylight is the culprit. I just wired in a patch to add a 100 watt briefcase panel when I need the extra juice for less sunny days. I have 2 deep cycle 12volt vmax tank batteries 125 AH each.
