I am the third owner and have owned it since fall of 2008. I bought it with 175,000 miles and it now has 245,000 miles. It runs, drives, and shifts smoothly. Has factory front and rear lockers. First thing I did was baseline with all new fluids, front axle rebuild kit, including all wheel and trunnion bearings. Coolant system was flushed and replaced with NAPA green. I have the previous owners service records plus records for work I have done. I continued the previous owners method of writing down things on the folder as seen in the pictures. Includes the third row seats. Just had the interior professionally detailed, have receipt.


Extras: Factory service manual, factory electrical wiring diagram, 4 Yakima A1 towers and two newer cross bars.


Notable Mods:


  • OME 2.5” lift kit with heavy front/medium rear,
  • 285/75-16 Cooper ST Maxx, only one year old with about 8,500 miles, and have Discount Tire hazard/replacement certificates
  • t-case skid plate,
  • ARB front bumper,
  • Warn XD9000i winch
  • Redline sliders (kit built), has cat protection
  • HAM radio wired, I will be removing the Kenwood TM- D710a and leaving the antenna wiring only. The Larsen antenna has a great gasket and I have a cap (with the same gasket) to use over the mount when not in use.
  • 7-pin mod
  • Temperature gauge mod.
  • Full time 12v power in rear of center console and passenger rear cargo area
  • Receiver hitch in pintle location
  • Rear tire carrier
  • Attic rack
  • Drivers visor super magnet fix, passenger side could now use the same.
  • Removed factory roof rack

Power inverter to rear of center console (previous owner)

Rear headrest video monitors ( they did work but wiring was a mess and when I cleaned up i can’t remember if i left them functional. Been a while since that’s have been used)



Other notable service since I have owned:


New Aisin water pump

All new hoses

New aluminum radiator

New front brake calipers

Extend rubber brake lines

LED interior lights

Pfran reverse LEDs

Factory cargo light added to lift gate

VSV for EGR relocated to outside of intake for better cooling

Both locker actuators opened, cleaned, greased, and resealed.

Regular oil changes with Mobil1 full synthetic and NAPA gold filters



Just a couple of months ago I replaced the front main crank seal and the oil pump seal. Still leaks a little bit either from arch seals or rear main.


A couple of the body moldings are a bit loose, don’t notice driving. There is an occasional drive line clunk when shifting from stopped. Occasional idle vibration (felt in cab only, engine idles smoothly, there are threads on this) when stopped and it may be related to needing a new EGR modulator (p0401 code), from what I have read that can cause this. Antenna control has never worked.



In the video I said 800 miles on tires when I was thinking of 8500, brain didn’t quite make the connections there, it is 8,500 miles.
