This has been a trusted friend for me and my family. It is in excellent condition overall inside. Outside is great except as specified below. We've used this for many things through the years: to commute (80 mi/day) at times, Trips to Tahoe, Camping trips towing my Horizon trailer up to Interior of BC (3 times) where my sister lives and also up to Lower Oregon for camping trips. It has only let me down once and that was when I was towing my race car (STi w/Featherlight trailer) on a hot day over Sunol pass. I was keeping up with my friend in his F150 and just went too fast and even with it in second I wasn't paying attention and 20 minutes later. I blew the head gasket, but no negative effects. Jeff at Toy connection in Santa Clara has done all major mechanical work to the engine. Rear End Specialties did all Axle Work (They do a lot of race cars and know their stuff). All Maintenance in the beginning was at Stevens Creek Toyota. I then switched to Los Gatos Goodyear since a good friend of mine is the store manager.
I am selling because with 2 kids, 2 dogs and all the stuff that entails I need a bigger rig. So, I am going with a van. Otherwise I wouldn't sell this. I never thought I would (same old story). I am listing this on a whim today so I need to clean it and get the steam cleaning done etc. to make it look like it should.
As with all LX 450's

- Slight oil leak (getting it steam cleaned front to rear underside along with engine area to track it down)
- 1 of the doors causes the door ajar light to go on all the time so I don't use the dome light. It flickers as you turn due to the door ajar.
- Left rear passenger door has a dent from a BB gun shooter that terrorized people on our 680 freeway in San Jose for years until they caught him. Slight surface rust where the paint came off. This being CA I wasn't worried about it. Just happy he didn't shoot a foot higher and hit the window with my daughter inside.
