Apologies in advance for exhausting ad...
Ok. After the unexpected passing of my dad/brother, I went through a period of time where I felt I "needed" everything in terms of cool (at least what I believed to be cool) vehicles.
Obviously, that wasn't the case as the vehicles created more issues and were a temp fix for the underlying problems.
Well, I've reduced the number of vehicles down from double digits in an effort to focus on what's important to me (my family).
I always wanted a plain jane F350 with A/C in a 7.3 diesel.
I found the next best thing at the time that once again satisfied my depression (2 or so years ago) was a low mileage F350 XL with a 351 V8 engine.
I'm selling my 1997 F350 4wd Standard Cab
The truck was hit in the driver's side about 13 years ago and sat in storage. I'd say the depression was operating at full force when this decision was made!!!
The title is clear as the owner didn't carry collision and walked away from it.
I paid far too much for the truck, but I didn't care (I really needed it)!!!
I had the local Ford dealership/body shop take their time to repair the driver's door/B-pillar and area under the box.
I purchased a door that came off a low mileage XL Ford as well as B-pillar section.
The door was in almost perfect shape and the door closes like new. In fact, I went through 3 different doors until I settled on the just the right one (bit OCD).
The shop took their time repairing everything and ended up respraying the driver's side. The bed was repaired and you can't tell it was damaged. Under the bed liner looks new and hasn't been repainted.
Specs:
1997 F350 1 ton reg cab
Under 48k original miles
Automatic
351 V8
4.10 limited slip rear axle
Truck never had a tow pkg.
Vinyl floors
A/C works great.
OEM bedliner
Excellent condition
Add-ons:
Reunel winch bumper that I installed last year.
Includes Warn 9000lb winch that has never been used.
Greenlee box in bed is negotiable
Hi-lift jack is included and can be mounted on the front bumper/brush guard
Cell phone antenna (no charge).
New AM/FM ipod/USB receiver
leveling kit
2 spares mounted on stock steel wheels
Maintenance:
I had all the fluids replaced.
I've driven the truck roughly 1000 miles since it has been in my possession (sad).
Engine compartment is dusty (I've never cleaned it).
Truck is in excellent shape and has always been in OR/WA.
I believe I'm the 2nd owner. It's about as stock as you can get and that's a good thing!
I have records for everything I have done. The trucks leaks no fluids.
It has a couple very minor dings that are really tough to see.
You are welcome to have any independent shop inspect the truck at your expense.
I don't believe it's ever been off road.
The cons would be the windshield has a ding in the middle (couple inches) and the previous accident.
I purposely lost track of what I spent on the truck...
SOLD
PM is best. Hopefully, I didn't miss anything...
