1997 Lexus LX450 w/ 1HD-FT conversion

I am considering selling my 1997 Lexus LX450 that has a 1HD-FT swapped in with an A442F transmission.
I bought it out of Vancouver Canada a few years ago and it was in immaculate shape with service records.
I am asking $21k CAD dollars D this was a Canadian vehicle that was also sold in the US it should be eligible for import as well depending on your state emissions laws etc.

The complete Engine/A442F auto/Transfer case was purchaed through G&S CruiserParts in BC and installed by Raymond Fourie. At that time, the vehicle had 115,000 km (72,000 miles) and the engine assembly had 50,000 km(31,000miles) Everything in this vehicle works as it should other than the intake heater has never been wired up.

The vehicle now has 258,XXX km (193000km on the engine, transmission, transfer case). It has no leaks and burns no oil. I get about get 20-22 US mpg and it has been a fantastic vehicle that I would drive anywhere, it could be the ultimate expedition vehicle or daily driver. I have never had this off road and it was mainly used as my wifes daily driver, for some camping trips and pulling the jet skis to the lake.

Just before I got it the following was done @ 175,500 km
Full front axle/hub/birfield service including all new seals, bearings, Amsoil synthetic birfield regrease, etc.
Complete front brake overhaul including new rotors, 100 series pads, rebuilt calipers.

New timing belt and valve lash adjustment @ 166,200 km

Apart from normal oil changes, transmission flush and maintenance I have done the following:
Serviced the front axle, re-packed the bearings, new seals, new birfields @ 250,000km
New rear brake pads and fluid flushed and replaced @ 230,000km
New A/C Compressor @ 222,000km
New Toyota U-Joints in front axle @ 245,000km
BEB bearings and new rod bolts were supplied with the cruiser when I bought it and these were changed at 245,000km and the old ones were like new.
Timing belt and tensioner were changed as well a valve lash adjustment @ 258000km

Other features:
-ACSD Removed by ATEB
-3" Exhaust from the turbo back
- Front and rear Lockers
- CDL switch
- Hand throttle/cable
- Heated drivers seat
- Slee skid plate and wiper washer bottle relocation kit.
- dual batteries with 12V starting circuit.

I have dropped the price to 21K USD.
I am very surprised at the little interest in a very clean correctly done 1HD-FT 80 series.

You can buy a clean Landcruiser 80 for under $10k. The remaining $11k will buy a lot of fuel, before you even begin saving money by running a diesel.

Nice truck, yes. But very custom and very expensive relative to other 80's, so your market will be limited.

That coupled with fact that last 3 diesel 1hdt-80 series that I saw sold in Ca. were $8k-12k. Not sure how a conversion will compete with factory stocker and similar miles at far less $ than u r asking.

-Fuel mileage is not the only reason to own a diesel cruiser over a gas. If fuel mileage was my primary concern I wouldn't consider a cruiser at all.
-This conversion is extremely clean and done right, you would be hard pressed to tell if you didn't know it. Much different than putting a 4BT etc. in a place it never belonged.
-If they were a stock 1HD-T I am assuming RHD JDM or Australian. In Canada at least, the RHD's don't command the same price and my wife at least has no desire to deal with driving one.
-21k CAD is my asking price and with the exchange rate there is an advantage for US buyers.

Thanks
