I'm actually loving the hankooks, they are kinda low on tread though. Aren't too loud on the road and they ride pretty smooth for mt. My next set will be nitto trail grapplers.

You and me both buddy, but maybe your hatred came from the same place as mine; american 4x4's.

See, the japanese 4x4's made the body overhang the frame a decent amount. So a 2" body lift looks like a factory american truck, and a 2 inch body lift will get you 35" tires without trimming, 37" with a little trimming. The best part is that it wont even look like you have a body lift, here, take a look at my stock suspension 96 SR, 2" body lift and 37's on 17x10 weld wheels;

Do you have any detailed pics of the trimming involved with running the 37's on a 2" BL?

Nope, but it's not for the faint of heart. Trim the bumper end cap until tires stop rubbing, remove the front mud flaps and trim the corner off the bottom end of the fender flare, then bash in the corner of the fender with a mallet.
