1998 Mitsubishi Montero SR (with factory rear locker)

I am replacing my trusty Monty with a Volvo wagon and I much rather have it go to somebody that knows what these great vehicles are than just trade it in at the dealership.

Location: Denver, CO
Price: $3600

If you are reading this you probably know all about the 98 Monty SR, but just in case here is a brief description:
1998 Montero SR, fully loaded (leather, sunroof, ac, cd, pw, ps, etc), headlight washers, 3rd row seating, 2WD, 4WD, 4WD LOCK, 4WD LOCK LOW, and Rear Locker Differential. It has the electric adjustable shocks that are still working great. Truck has 172K miles, but had major service at 150K (timing belt, waterpump, etc). EVERYTHING works, it has no leaks, no funny dash lights, and it runs great. Interior is good, and exterior has a lot of nicks (LOT of highway driving in Colorado and Wyoming during sky season). Interior color is grey and exterior is green. I attached some pictures below, but I have many more I can send you if you send me an email.

Known Problems: Dashboard light bulb for 4WD left rear tire and D drive indicator is burned.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks,

Marcelo

At 150K it had:
- Timing belt
- Water pump
- Spark plugs
- Rotors
- Wheel bearings
- Tranny, t-case, and Diffs service (synthetic oil)
- Drive Belts
- Tires and alignment

Somebody asked about AC. AC and heater both work great, AC is actually ice cold.
Somebody asked about CV Joints. Not sure if the CVs were replaced, but the boots look fairly new, I attached some pictures below.

This is a great deal!! Someone jump on it!:victory:

X2

The dash bulbs are very cheap (ask me for my dealer info if you want great service and pricing) and very easy to replace.

After seeing Roger's gen 2.5 again recently, this one sure has me thinking...

I was thinking of you Tony! I think you should get it! I would if I wasn't getting ready to start a remodeling project on the house.
