Just got home with this and couldn't be more pleased with the vehicle or the transaction. Pinzmog is the most 'up front' seller I've had the pleasure of working with in nearly fifty years of buying or trading for things that move under their own power. Looks like the Montero is a winner as well - road manners were much better than expected during the 200 mile drive home and we'll see how she does in the sand when we get down to the OBX in a couple of weeks. I'm too old for the hard core stuff anymore but can promise everyone she won't spend all her time on asphalt.

Also want to pass along my thanks to everyone who's posted here and for the wealth of knowledge being shared. I've been offroading since the 60's but had never even sat in a Montero until this one. Looking forward to learning from you folks. Its been a few years since I turned a wrench in ernest and now we mostly offroad just to get to our favorite campsites so I can't offer much tech help but, if anyone is interested in finding places to get away from it all in NC, I might be able to help.
