I went to see this yesterday and couldn't believe how nice it was... So I bought it.

It was a one owner, dealer maintained truck its whole life. I spent over an hour going through the maintenance records from the dealer and there was no mechanical issue that wasn't immediately fixed at a toyota dealer. Even the power antenna still works! Not even a speck of rust anywhere either. The only thing that didn't work was the RR diff lock, which I suspect is from never once being used until I test drove it. Given the documented diff fluid changes in the dealer records, I don't feel like I'll have any major problem getting it worked out. Now I can stop missing my old 4Runner!

Congrats, nice looking Cruiser. May it rack up another 500k.

I wouldn't mind picking up one of these one day to play with, maybe if I get bored with the 4runner.

That thing looks super clean, well worth $5K even if it was destined to be chopped into some sort of 'wheeler. You'd think eventually you'd at least see cloudy headlight lenses or something.
